I'm a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of Rochester, and I study American politics and political methodology. My interests primarily lie at the intersection of political behavior and political institutions like parties and elites. These topics range from public opinon and survey experimental methods to preference formation and the U.S. Congress. My work thus far has appeared in American Politics Research and Presidential Studies Quarterly.

A personal goal of mine is to promote communication between the institutional and behavioral  subfields of American Politics,  both theoretically and methodologically.
